This category is open to domestic and commercial projects including new builds and renovation projects of all sizes.

Please note the judges for this category are looking for an outstanding sustainable project. If you would like to submit a nomination with evidence that your company is acting sustainably (eg through business practices), please include this in a nomination for Business of the Year.
This award recognises an individual apprentice employed by a Master Builder company, who has demonstrated exceptional practical skills and commitment to their chosen trade. The apprentice being nominated must have worked for a Master Builder company between 1 January 2021 and 1 January 2023.
Nominees must be working towards completing a construction apprenticeship programme or have finished their apprenticeship within the 12 months prior to 31 January 2023. The nominees can be full time, part time or flexible apprentices. Each nominee will be judged on what they have achieved in their individual time frame.
An apprentice can be independently nominated by a client for this award.

This award is presented to an individual tradesperson or a team who works for a Master Builder company and has demonstrated outstanding commitment to their trade, contributed to high quality projects and delivered exceptional customer service. The tradesperson or team being nominated must have worked for a Master Builder company between 1 January 2021 and 1 January 2023.
A tradesperson or team can be independently nominated by a client for this award.

This award recognising a Master Builder company that demonstrates outstanding leadership and business management, and dedication to supporting clients.
Examples of business performance could include improved commercial relationships; business growth (financial management, client base, expansion, etc); customer management; innovative or sustainable business practices; etc.
Nominations must highlight achievements and challenges that the company has faced between 1 January 2023 and 1 January 2025.
