Deadline for entry 5pm, Friday, 10 January 2025.

Whether it’s showcasing innovative sustainability, magnificent renovations, quality house building or beautiful commercial projects, the Awards is an opportunity for Master Builder companies to receive the recognition they deserve.
Homeowners can also celebrate their favourite Master Builder who has gone the extra mile by nominating an outstanding company, an individual builder, or even their most exceptional apprentice.

Nominations must be submitted online through the FMB website by Friday 10 January 2025.
Yes. Members will need to secure permission from their clients to enter a project into the project categories as photos and information about the project may be publicised on the FMB website, social media channels and in the media. Please read the entry Terms and Conditions for more information.
If you would like to nominate a Master Builder for Outstanding Builder of the Year, or an apprentice for Apprentice of the Year, we encourage you to speak to the individual first. However, if you would like to submit a nomination as a surprise you may do so.
If you are the client of the project please state this clearly in your nomination. For example if you submit your own companies offices.
Unlike most award schemes, the Master Builder Awards are free to enter, but you must be a Master Builder company (or employed by a Master Builder company) to be eligible to participate. You must be a member at the time the nomination is submitted or are applying for membership and will have become a member before January 2024. If you're not a member, you can start your application to become a Master Builder today to take part in the next Master Builder Awards.
Due to the volume of entries received, it is not possible to provide feedback on individual nominations.
The nominations are judged by independent judging panels at both a local and national level.
The first round of judging takes place at a local level to choose the category winners in each region and devolved nation. These winners are then shortlisted for the national awards, where a separate independent national judging panel will review the entries and select the winners.
Yes, your client can nominate you directly for the Outstanding Builder of the Year and Apprentice of the Year award.
For project category nominations (such as Small Renovation Project) or Business of the Year, we recommend members complete their own nominations as these require more detailed information about the building process and/or business. However, clients can support these entries by preparing a testimonial.

Nominations can only be submitted for a Master Builder company (a company which is a member of the FMB) or an individual employed by a Master Builder company. If you're not a member, you can start your application to become a Master Builder today.

There is no limit to the number of nominations one Master Builder company can make.
A project may be entered into more than one category if applicable to the criteria for each category. For example, a new home may be eligible for the Housebuilder Award and the Kitchen Project category if a kitchen was part of the new build and was substantially completed by the Master Builder company rather than a separate installation company. Each entry must be accompanied by a separate nomination form.
You will need to submit a separate nomination form for each unique project ─ you cannot nominate two separate projects in the same entry form.
