2SS Contractors Ltd

This company was head and shoulders above the others that quoted. I was a small job I think for them (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a first floor flat with concrete floors) but they had such confidence - nothing was a problem. I felt consulted and involved, and I like Svajunas and Svajune on a personal level. They give advice (and living alone and a newbie to renovation I needed it!) but just want their clients to be happy with the results. I am delighted with my flat. The crew were tidy, polite and went out of their way to help, and the project came in on time and on budget. Highly recommended with no reservations.

2SS provided clear and accurate costings taking the time to explain everything from start to finish. Their competance and ability to use ICF was notable. Their confidence and ability to work quickly and accurately was evident from the start. Timekeeping was impeccable, work ethic outstanding and craftmenship was second to none! The site was kept neat at all times. The finished product is first class. They completed ahead of time and on budget. I would most certainly recommend 2SS!

We got three quotes and the clincher for us was the personal touch and passion these guys brought to the table. It was a clear choice. We were proved right when the project finally started (which we had delayed). Any problems that came up, they helped resolve practically and looked for what was best for us rather than their pocket. This approach made it much easier to agree an additional costs which were kept to a minimum. We are so happy with extension, which is one of the best that we've experienced (and we've experienced a few!). It's long lasting work Two year's on and it still feels as it was finished yesterday. If ever there was a building firm you want to keep in touch with - this is it.

From the first interaction with Svajunas and Svajune from 2SS Contractors, they stood well out from the rest of the builders we invited to quote- very well organised and very professional in all their dealings with us, and super nice people too! From start to finish, the entire build process was absolutely seamless and very well organised. Svajunas was on site at least once a day making sure things are progressing and discussing any adjustments/issues. Our build ended on time and on budget and was done to a very high level, The workers employed by 2SS Contractors were all great too.They were also completely trustworthy and we had no issues leaving them unattended in the house. We still have the loft and some other works to do, and no question who we will ask to do it. I cannot recommend 2SS Contractors highly enough, they are amazing!

We used 2SS CONTRACTORS for a large rear extension, which also involved internal restructuring to modernise a 1960s detached house. Of course there are always complications, but the work was completed to a very high standard with a high level of efficiency and professionalism, all within the agreed timeframe and budget. The team were punctual, hardworking and considerate throughout the project. Feedback and interaction with the company was always very good. True to their word, the company returned six months later to deal with any snags. We will almost certainly use 2SS in the future on other projects.

On short notice we contacted 2SS along with 3 other builder companies in the area. 2SS was by far the most professional building company, always being solution-oriented whilst remaining cost-minded. This came across well in our initial meeting and which remained through the process and resulted in a very affordable bathroom project that was completed to high-end luxury hotel standards. They are honest in their dealings and went above and beyond with listening to my questions, being careful with the hardware I purchased, and communicating back to me on anything and everything. Finally, they have been excellent and responsive in any follow-up conversations around any further improvements and queries on the new bathroom. Whenever I am ready to have any further large-scale work done to my house, they can be certain that I contact them directly.

Our Charity (Triratna Buddhist Community Surrey) hired 2SS CONTRACTORS to rebuild our shrine room and reception area at our Buddhist centre on Croydon High Street. From first contact with 2SS, we were impressed by their open communication, frank advice and their strong work ethic. This was reinforced when we were invited to meet previous clients of 2SS and to view the works done at their homes. From the start they have been patient, supportive and extremely professional in all their communication with us. At each stage of planning and in the actual work, they have been open and sympathetic to our vision of this important and sacred space, and have brought practical solutions and helpful adaptations to what was a poor initial structure. Right from the start of the works onsite, the 2SS CONTRACTORS workers have been punctual, polite, hard working and an absolute joy to have on site. At the end of the project, our architect, building adviser and charity trustees are thrilled with the results and with the professional finish of all the areas. We re-opened and re-dedicated this beautiful space on 13th May and have resumed classes and events. We will continue to be in touch with 2SS as they have excellent aftercare and we will no doubt have them back to do more work in the future. We would be very happy to recommend them.

2SS CONTRACTORS Ltd were engaged to remodel the interior of our newly purchased 1980's built house and to build new garage. We very quickly became very confident in “2SS”, from the advice they gave, the quality of the work they did and their charges for the work. We could not have been happier with the service, and even seasoned builders who have visited the house since we had the work done have commented on the superb work done to our property. Our house was outdated and poorly laid out. After working with “2SS” and his team to identify what we could move, take away or change, we now have a house with lots of light, lots of space and flexible accommodation that brings the house right up to date. We are delighted with the results and would happily recommend “2SS” team to others who wish to make the most out of their property.

When one embarks on any building project the outset starts with apprehension. Will the project overrun? Will it go over budget? The key to this is to find a good builder/ building firm however this is never straightforward. One has to take a leap of faith and hope that you have done your best in terms of research and be guided by gut instinct. If you are looking for honesty, good timekeeping and attention to detail then look no further. We employed “2SS CONTRACTORS” after inspecting their current and past projects and we were very pleased with the standards shown and the positive customer feedback. We concluded that “2SS” were builders with a conscious and took pride in their work. Our loft conversion ran to schedule. Any difficulties that were encountered were discussed prior to proceeding. We were consulted through the build and “2SS” were always easy to reach and on hand to discuss any concerns. We will definitely use “2SS” again when we come to renovate & build our ground floor extension. An excellent all round team which were great to have on site.

Our side extension has changed the quality of our lives so much that I can quite honestly say, I love our new kitchen and downstairs shower-room! And it's all thanks to the excellent work carried out by 2SS Contractors. Heading the project, Svajune and Svajunas were on-hand to give friendly practical advice, help and information throughout the entire build period and supervised it at every stage. Their team worked quickly, meticulously and efficiently to complete it all in time - as promised - for Christmas. As well as aesthetic considerations, correct building regulations were a priority, which is an absolute must in this level of building work. We consulted at least six builders before beginning the extension and after careful consideration, chose 2SS - we're so pleased that we made the right decision. We had a 4.5m rear extension and internal renovation work done by 2SS Contractors. They have done a brilliant job and I would not hesitate to recommend Svajunas and his team. From the very start Svajunas was very clear and always helpful. Throughout the project he has made everything smooth and if we had any issues or questions he was always available to discuss. The whole team was extremely efficient and always on time and worked really hard to finish the project on time and not to inconvenience us in any form. The job was done to the highest standards and attention paid to every little detail. I am very happy with the works and although it has been a stressful few weeks having to live through the building works, I would choose Svajunas again to do the works.
