Anthony King worked on our home renovation and kitchen extension project for several months. It was not a straightforward build. We have an Edwardian house which needed updating. Service drains and downspouts had to be reconfigured and the two outside rooms, with different floor and roof levels, were brought into one to create a new open plan kitchen. The original kitchen area was then extended out 3.5 metres and the back corner of the original house completely removed. A new utility room was created at the back of the kitchen and new bathroom off the entrance hall. Throughout the build Anthony was a pleasure to work with. He sets a very high standard. He and his team worked hard, left things tidy at the end of each day, were always thoughtful and courteous and invaded our space a little as possible. Above all Anthony went out of his way to keep us functional. Most of the time we had a sink, cooker and washing machine so the inconvenience was kept to a minimum. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. He didn’t just build from the plan but made suggestions that improved on the plan. He was very good at discussing how we preferred the work to be done and at making suggestions of how best to proceed. His ideas were often better than our own and his input was invaluable. We really do not feel we would have got such a beautiful finished result if we had chosen any other builder. We are extremely happy to recommend him. Heather and Steve Edwards, Aylesbury.

A.C.King Construction Ltd were highly recommended through a family member who recently had a single storey extension built and finished to an extremely high standard of workmanship. They visited our home on a couple of occasions prior to work commencing to discuss our architect’s plans, party wall agreement and provided a very competitive quote for the works that was within our budget. Our construction plans needed to be amended slightly due to our neighbour’s extension, they were very informative throughout the whole process and made sure we were fully happy with any design changes before any work commenced in line with local authority building control. There were no delays in the build process (apart from the weather!) and materials were always delivered in a timely fashion prior to the next stage of the work being undertaken, and the forward thinking made everything a very smooth process which did not impact on our day to day routine. I cannot fault their professionalism and commitment on a daily basis by this company throughout the whole build, the quality of the workmanship was very precise and thoughtfulness gone in to every detail of the work from planning through to completion, which has been highly noted by all our neighbours. This is a very professional building company on every single level, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to family, friends or neighbours and will be re-appointing them for future building works on our family home. I have recently had a 6 x 8 meter single storey rear extension built by Tony King of A.C King Construction Ltd in the summer of 2017. The whole project was organised and constructed to an extremely high standard, covering every aspect of the building works from ground works through to the internal finishes including a new wet room and the tiling and installation of a new kitchen. Tony’s professionalism, help and advice before and throughout the build was excellent allowing me to fully utilize the space, based on and finances I had available to me to complete the building works. I found them all extremely friendly, prompt and hard working to keep the building works on schedule with little disruption to my general day to day living. Their years of building experience proved invaluable when we came up against unforeseen problems as the build developed, would very highly recommended.
