Architect designed three storey luxury home.  This bespoke home features open plan ground floor with contemporary features.  Outside a single storey wrap around is clad in zinc cladding and extensive external hard landscaping.  The eco features include triple glazing, MVHR, Solar Panels, Electric car charging and battery storage.

We were privileged to have an award-winning reportage artist Julia Midgley @midgleyjulia capture elements of the build process.

Barn Conversion, Peak District - Winner of the 2023 North West Large Renovation Category

The existing concrete block barn has been adapted and modernised to provide spacious accommodation over several split levels.

Steel cladding has been used to envelope the building and triple glazed curtain walling and windows installed to maximise thermal performance.
The interior is a contemporary design with several eco features; Air Source Heat Pump, Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery, Solar Photovoltaic Panels complete with a battery wall and underfloor heating.
Externally the rainwater is directed into a pond that passes under the building, complementing the front elevation and creating an ecological haven for wildlife along with an insect wall and swallow nesting overhang.

This interesting and beautiful, grade II listed former school house has been extensively re-modelled and extended to provide a contemporary, open plan, family home.  The extension features a fully opening, corner-less, folding door system that opens up onto a new patio area.  The downstairs interior has been opened up to provide an up-to-date kitchen and living space, with polished concrete floors throughout and glazed galleried viewing areas above.  The period features have been retained and enhanced and in sensitive contrast ultra-modern smart home and state of the art audio visual systems have been installed. 
 

The NeuroMuscular Centre is a charity that provides physiotherapy treatment, care and support to service users and their families affected by Muscular Dystrophy.  A J Field Development's scope of works included extending and refurbishing the entire premises to incorporate a new training annex, offices, a gym, cafe and landscaping. It was necessary to phase the construction work around the NMC's daily business, allowing service users to continue their physio treatment and care, and for the design and print works to carry out business as normal as this helps to fund their operation.
