It consisted of 2 x dormers and a clipped hip-to-gable creating a master bedroom, small bedroom and an en-suite.
The conversion and refurbishment was finished to a high spec and the property is now on the market. We have since been contracted again for another large development of theirs in Rochford.

Kally & David did not enough head room in their loft for a conversion (until we arrived). After surveying their home in Leigh on Sea we came up with a solution where by lowering their internal ceiling level on the 1st floor and re constructing the roof we could make the conversion possible. They now have an additional 2nd story with a beautiful master bedroom, en-suite, fitted wardrobes as well as a fully refurbished 1st floor.

Change of plan – When we 1st visited Darren and Kelly, they had already had full planning permission approved but yet the design was not only above their budget, the build also required underpinning inside their home.
Add A Room Ltd came up with an alternative design giving them additional space from the original plans, a new roof and new conservatory all at a cheaper price with less disruption.

We used Add a room for our recent loft conversion and were impressed from start to finish.
They were professional and friendly throughout and having design drawings included in the quote made everything so much simpler for us.

After a number of quotes from other companies we called Add a room.
They discussed the best way to do the job giving me two or three options.
The workers where very punctual and worked long hours and very pleasant.
After work every day every thing was put away swept up and left tidy, They completed the work in the stated time and left us very happy.

When contemplating building work for the first time....what a minefield...where to go?
We contacted 4 or 5 companies we found locally.we chose Add a Room be cause they were prompt, no nonsense and unlike others they listened to what we wanted rather than try to tell us what they wanted to build, although they gave us advise if they thought something would work better.
They did everything from drawing up the plans to build complete and plastering.
My main apprehension was that we have 5 dogs, how on earth would we/they cope with not having access to the garden for 2 to 3 months whilst the extension was being built, but we needn't have worried as at the end of each day they boarded up and made safe the garden, enabling the dogs free access until the morning , also the front drive was hosed down and swept each day.
Arten and his team were punctual and worked long days, unfortunately due to a run of bad weather the job did get slightly behind, however they would work several Saturdays to make up the time.
We are very pleased with the end result, we have a lovely cosy lounge which we use mainly for the dogs, a downstairs toilet, and nice size utility room, giving side access so we dont have to walk the dogs through the house
We would certainly recommend them.
