We demolished the garage to make way for a two storey extension. At the rear we also built a kitchen extension which formed a large kitchen diner. Under floor heating was installed and tiling through out the ground floor before we installed a stunning on trend kitchen and appliance's. We also installed new double glazing through out the property so all the doors and windows matched.

You can see from the last photo just what a transformation has taken place.

This project was inspected by the FMB's independent inspection company and formed part of the joining process to become a Master Builder with the Federation of Master Builders.

Thank you Jake and your team of Aesum builders and decorators for working on and finishing our recent building project (October 22 to completion October 23). It involved large extensions, a garage build with bedroom accommodation (oak framed ) large kitchen diner /conservatory build and internal re modelling of existing rooms , landscaping ,flooring ,decorating, tiling and the organisation of plumbers electricians roofers and other specialists. Jake was always available and responsive to our requests as we lived in the project from start to finish. The building team were cheerful and well organised . The site was kept tidy and we were helped thoughtfully throughout the project and beyond. There were few hold ups, the project being coordinated well from foundations to finishing touches. Changes, requests and problems were dealt with quickly and without fuss. We are very happy with the build and are grateful for the Jake and all the Aesum team for helping us realise our vision.

Jake and his team did a fantastic job converting our loft space in a bedroom with en-suite and store room. He was the only builder / architect that said we could do it without replacing the roof and using massive steels…and he was right! Knows his stuff, his team work to a high standard and care about the finish. They did all the work while we lived in the house with almost no disruption / mess to the rest of the house. I’d highly recommend Aesum!

Would highly recommend Aesum and Jake. Project was delivered to a high standard, within the agreed budget, and on time by a fantastic team of passionate, friendly and professional tradesmen. Great communication throughout, the team contributed some brilliant ideas, and the inevitable hiccups that come with any project were dealt with without any fuss. Will definitely be using Aesum and Jake for any future work that we need doing.
