MANSION BLOCK
The client brief for this project was simple, increase both space and storage. With the client in question being an interior designer herself the project was an aspirational one.
By removing the old ceiling we were able to increase the ceiling height from 2.5m to 3.5m. This not only immediately made the home more spacious but also provided extra height for us to utilise with our bespoke built in storage.
Additionally, 3 partition walls were removed to turn what was previously a cramped galley kitchen, small hallway and lounge into a huge expanse, creating extra light and a much better flow throughout.
Small changes like repositioning an electrical cupboard allowed us the opportunity to create an inspiring entrance way that immediately welcomes you as you enter the property.
From the headboards to the furniture everything in this stunning space is bespoke and created by the skilled workmen at Alchemy.

MAYFAIR APARTMENT BLOCK
As with all projects, we worked closely with clients on this complete renovation to ensure we delivered exactly the kind of space they wanted.
This particular project had the added dimension of being used predominantly as a pied a terre. For the clients, this meant bringing enough of the home comfort style choices into the plans whilst retaining enough of the London character, which made them fall in love with the area in the first place. The new space should be a balance of old and new but ultimately warm enough to be considered a home from home.
This style concept is perhaps best illustrated by looking at the bespoke kitchen. Warm, dark silver pore oak veneered units offer the perfect contrast to the cool, modern onyx stone worktops. Warm colour selection for wardrobes and wallpaper ensure the space has an almost country feel despite being situated in one of London's busiest most sort after locations.
