Plaster removed from all walls chemical injection and membrane to affected area. Was meant to be plaster boarded and skimmed, but was plaster boarded and slimmed full height as walls were so uneven. (No extra cost). Door frame taken out and surrounding wall boarded and skimmed, window sill built up, plasterboard and skimmed, this was an extra request by myself during the course of the work at a price agreed.

Dave responded to my online enquiry and further correspondence very quickly. On inspection of the property he provided a thorough, verbal explanation of the problems encountered and various options available to remedy the damp. This was followed up quickly with a written quotation and explanation of tasks agreed. The work was subsequently undertaken and completed within a few weeks to a great standard. This included: removal and refitting of skirting boards; removal and re-hanging of radiators; removal of wallpaper and plaster; damp proofing; plasterboard and skimming. Ultimately, the house was left as it was found and all necessary work to achieve this was included in the quote; something that was not included in other quotes I received. This made the whole process much easier and straightforward, such that I would highly recommend Ambient Preservation.
