We are extremely pleased at the end product produced by Artisan. Our bungalow is not the norm and some builders were unsure about quoting. Mike has proven to be extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with building works, nothing phased him, everything was progressed at a steady thoughtful pace that achieved excellent results. At times he suggested possible alterations to the agreed design which enhanced the property even more. Towards the end of the build I recommended Artisan to a friend, Mike has recently finished this build and my friends are very pleased with their build also.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of Mike and his team from beginning to end of our project, which was to take out internal walls dividing the kitchen and dining room and extend the kitchen by 4m. There were quite a few structural issues which needed to be addressed and these happened seamlessly. Mike was punctual on his first visit and impressed us with his knowledge and experience. The quotation we received was extremely detailed but very well presented and easy to understand. All invoices were in line with the quotation with no nasty surprises. Any potential issues were approached in a very professional manner and accepted as challenges rather than problems, leaving us confident with the build. Mike’s technical knowledge and level of skills are outstanding. It was a pleasure to have Mike and his team on site, they were very considerate of our dog and of our neighbours. We would highly recommend Artisan Construction.

Two storey extension to detached property in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield. Demolition of garage to build play room, kitchen extension, fourth bedroom, walk in wardrobe and ensuite. We initially obtained several quotations and met with various builders. From the outset, we were impressed with Mike’s knowledge and professionalism. This continued throughout the build until the final installation of the kitchen, which proved to be a challenge with the supplier but this was overcome. Mike and his team were always on site timely and left everything as tidy as expected. We received continued expert advise throughout and the final finish is excellent. We are very happy with the end result and are now settling back into our amazing new home.

Refurbishment of large semi-dettached1930’s residential property and grounds. Specific works: Strip out, structural beams, removal of chimneys and internal walls, roof repairs, complete re-wire, complete heating and plumbing replacement, period and modern brickwork, new services to property, sewer replacement, structural beams and joists for loft conversion, joinery, re-plastering throughout, installation of new UPVC doors, windows and aluminium bifold doors, toilet and bathroom installation, final certification, and hard and soft landscaping for patio to rear and drive to front. Mike from Artisan provided a quotation for complete internal and external refurbishment of our newly acquired property to create a modern contemporary family home. From our first meeting it was apparent to me that he was patient, enthusiastic, highly experienced and thoroughly understood all aspects of the construction phases required. I was impressed with the Company's knowledge of the requirements to bring together a complete refurbishment project of this size. Artisan provided a detailed project planning schedule that allowed me to maintain a firm understanding of the works and control of the procurement process including additional works that I requested during the project. Throughout Mike and the team were very professional, took great great pride in their workmanship and ensured that throughout the project the property was kept tidy as far as was practicable. The works were staged in relation to the schedule giving me a firm sense of progression throughout. The Company’s operatives were passionate about their work, which is evident from the final overall result a well-designed redeveloped property, completed to a high standard. Mike and his team were qualified and had over 20 years experience of carrying the full array of building works required which was of benefit as I only had to rely on one contractor to complete the project.
