The main objective of the project was to create an accessible new home that features an inclusive design that is tailored specifically to the client and to ensure a better quality of life.

The design of the build is a mixture of traditional and contemporary with ample smart technology to allow a large home to function with ease.

Located in the picturesque setting of Lisvane (Cardiff), it fits perfectly in the countryside to allow our client to fully immerse himself in open space and nature.

Another crucial part of the brief was making sure the build was self-sufficient. This was achieved with renewable energy, such as ground source heating, heat recovery systems, solar panels and a strict airtightness process to reduce energy wastage.

This project was a high spec single storey rear extension to provide large kitchen and rear reception/dining area and WC. Full internal and external renovation to existing.
The most technically challenging part of the project was probably the 4m x 1m skylight. An extremely heavy and delicate part of the build, but as the pictures show it was completely worth it.
The property is a narrow 3 bedroom terrace house with little ground floor space, but with great design and builder expertise we created a much larger open plan area and still left the client with ample garden space. Read less

Features include a beautiful zinc roof and aluminium bi-folding windows that fill the space with light.
We worked together with the client to deliver a renovation of the highest standard, whilst using a professional waste disposal team to deal with waste in the most efficient way and reduce environmental impact.
