Creating a kitchen/dining/living space and demolition and rebuild and extension of the existing master bedroom incorporating a mezzanine home office space above.

There were two key challenges. The first was to keep the family complete with goldfish and two children living in the house. The second was access. All of the new materials in and demolition waste streams had to be taken down the narrow footpath access via the garden gate. Significant structural work was undertaken which needed special care and consideration to ensure that the rear of the clients and also the adjoined neighbour's houses remained safe and stable throughout this phase of the work.
