A roof is a key component to any building but when it requires replacing due to component failure you need peace of mind that the contractor undertaking the work is trustworthy and can carry out that work to a high quality standard. Barry and his team, to their word, carried out the work efficiently and to a very high standard. No mess was left and all scaffolding and skips were removed from the property really quickly following completion of the works. The work was inspected and signed off by building regulations without issue. Neighbours have commented on how great it looks and overall I would absolutely recommend Barry and his team to anyone looking for a full roof replacement.

Barry and his team were excellent. Barry provided knowledgeable advice and sound professional opinion on the best way forward to resolve our issues. The team arrived on time, kept to schedule, gave regular updates and tidied up after themselves. Barry also identified supporting work we could choose to have done as the job progressed e.g. adding insulation. This was so helpful as getting this work done retrospectively would have been problematic. I highly recommend Barry and his team and will be using them for any further work we need doing.

Add to this the superb work ethic of Ethan and Gareth on the roof, SO hard working, with attention to every detail, thorough practice, determinedly working on to complete our roof repairs giving us enormous peace of mind. Not leaving until full evidence of work undertaken was shared plus a full clean up. Much more than five stars! After previous poor experiences this has been a totally positive encounter with a team that take pride in completing their work to the highest standards. So refreshing!

Barry and his team were excellent in their work ethic, politeness, and attention to the work being completed. They also cleaned up extremely well which I have had issues with tradespeople before. The work completed was as described, including why work had to be done a particular correct way. There were no hidden extras. It was not easy to manage my job as it was weather dependent, Barry also ensured this was done at the correct time.

After a very quick response to my enquiry phone call the problems were soon identified and an agreed price soon fixed for the job. Barry tried to fast track repairs to my leaking roof but, the stormy weather intervened. Scaffolding was erected in a timely manner and without incident. The work was completed in three days and I was kept informed of each day’s planned work and also got an end of day progress report. The personal workmanship and materials were high quality and the workmen demonstrated a healthy respect for our property and possessions. The workmen were both friendly and sympathetic to our situation. They worked quietly and efficiently whilst keeping the work site both tidy and clean. Extra time was spent restoring the cosmetics of the roof to make it look as it did before the work was started. All rubbish was removed as the work progressed and a final site tidy ensured everything looked back to normal.

Barry has given me excellent service - highly recommended - he came earlier to thoroughly look at the issue and clearly lay out what was needed with a set cost. When they arrived today they were efficient, friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make sure everything was okay and I was informed on what they had done. Pictures were provided and the soil pipe is completed sorted now looks great.

Barry Holmes roofing services excellent from quote to completion Barry and his team recently put a new pitched roof on my house and also fixed the flat roof extension. The team were very professional and Barry kept me fully informed as the job progressed, while completing the roof they fitted insulation. Mr Holmes provided a reasonable and fair estimate for building a pitched roof over a flat-roofed extension, incorporating insulation. He and his workers completed the job to a high standard within 5 days, leaving the site clean and tidy. They were courteous and helpful throughout. I would highly recommend his company.
