This project was to demolish a block of 8 garages in the back garden area of a block of flats and build a two story 3 bedroom dwelling on a tight site. One story below ground. Due to it's location the local authority planners were very restrictive as to what could be built on this site. One level of this two story dwelling is below ground. The excavation and removal of spoil and the placing of the heavy reinforced concrete basement area on such a confined site was a highlight in building terms. The building is highly insulated and features a green roof.
Build My Home is more than 5 stars! Michael and his team are punctual, polite and professional in every way. Nothing is too much trouble. We had two major extensions, not straightforward at all but everything from start to finish went smoothly. This was all down to Build My Home having professional, competent and experienced work men. The attention to detail was superb and all work was undertaken in a polite courteous manner. Build My Home gave us a stress free experience and a home that we as a family absolutely love and are extremely proud of...seriously, if you want to feel confident and have builders that can deliver a high quality finish then I cannot recommend Michael and his team more highly!!!

We used Build My Home for a ground floor extension plus landscaping of our garden and have been absolutely delighted with the result. The work was carried out to a very high standard to the agreed cost and timescale. Communication was very good - we felt involved during all stages of the build. The team are very professional, approachable, helpful and occasionally going above and beyond our expectations.
Michael is a pleasure to deal with, responding promptly to any concerns or queries.
Choosing a builder to work on your house is always a worry but I cannot recommend them enough. They have made us a stunning space that we will enjoy for years to come.
