Facing a potential threat to a resident's static home due to a small landslide, CG Construction carried out an emergency response.

Project Overview

- Road closure implemented for safety.

- Excavation of a 16m-long bank to the required depth and width.

- Auger holes strategically placed, reinforced with RSJs and encased in concrete.

- Timber hardwood sleepers inserted between each section.

- Backfilled with rejects to support the retaining wall.

- Path beside the static home levelled, adorned with shingle, and the existing fence reinstated.

- Surplus spoil efficiently removed by grab.

- Road meticulously swept and reopened within 7 days.

Full-scale renovation to reception area for our loyal commercial client in Gatwick.

Our meticulous work included a complete strip-out, suspended ceiling installation, expert wall skimming, and the addition of new skirting and architrave, breathing new life into the entire space.

We elevated the aesthetics with stunning resin floor, carpet tiles on the stairs and landing, complete with a sleek handrail and balustrade.

Removing bell tower timber structures at a majestic Surrey estate, responding to our client's request for precision and excellence.

Every detail is intricately planned and organised. With utmost care, each tower was scaffolded to perfection, ensuring the bell tower structures were expertly braced for the impending crane lift. A meticulous execution where weather conditions played a crucial role.

Scheduled for completion in just one day, our operation was weather-dependent, emphasising the importance of perfect conditions for a seamless process.

Following the successful crane lift, the bell tower structures were covered and stored with diligence, marking the completion of Phase 1 in anticipation of the grand Phase 2 - a full refurbishment.

⁣A delightful couple needed a swift makeover to their garden path before their son’s wedding reception. With time ticking, we were delighted to step in and ensure everything was perfect for the big day.

⁣They were so pleased with our work that they’ve invited us back to create a stunning new large terrace patio later this year.

Our regular client, More House School for Boys, needed extra accessible parking. After removing the existing surface, we laid new sub base and surface tarmacadam courses to give a smooth parking surface that was previously unusable. Extensive channel and land drainage was included to discharge surface water due to varying land levels.
The result was a great new parking area, and happy teachers!

Complete Renovation of a substantial, detached period property in Horley Surrey for our lovely clients.

The house is thought to date back to the 16th century and believed to have been a coaching inn called The Bear with a later wing added in the early 1900's. Well recognised locally as the Teddy Bear House because of the teddy bears on the balcony.

Phase 1 commenced with site clearance and security fencing, trench excavated around the perimeter of the house due to the extent of rising damp followed by a complete strip out, demolition of internal walls, structural works, and floor removal.

Complete turnkey build of a bespoke, oak frame double garage with workshop for a valued returning client. Project involved the demolition of its predecessor, extensive piling and reinforced foundations due to the conditions of the soil, landscaping and improved drainage.
The result was a very happy client, and a gorgeous double garage with plenty of storage space for all those ‘essentials’.
