Extension Rob from CDD was very easy to work with and took time to explain the whole process. He undertook the survey, speedily prepared a design and submitted to the Local Authority. I had my doubts that Permission would be approved but Rob was fairly confident he could get permission given his proposed ideas and layout. I was therefore extremely happy to receive Full Planning and have no hesitation in recommending CDD's service when seeking Planning Approval. I now look to working with CDD on the build.

I researched Charles Dean Developments and was impressed with their previous work. I asked them to undertake drawings for a Planning Application to: • Convert the garage into habitable space • Construct a rear single storey, full width, extension • Construct a part one/two storey, front extension Rob from CDD was very easy to work with and took time to explain the whole process. He undertook the survey, speedily prepared a design and submitted to the Local Authority. I had my doubts that Permission would be approved but Rob was fairly confident he could get permission given his proposed ideas and layout. I was therefore extremely happy to receive Full Planning and have no hesitation in recommending CDD's service when seeking Planning Approval.

We approached Charles Dean Developments to design and implement planning for a rear extension to our home. Drawings were professionally produced and when submitted, we were delighted to receive planning permission. We later decided to include an option to convert the garage into habitable space and so had no hesitation in returning to CDD. Once again the service was very professional, with valuable advice in liaising with the Local Authority. We would thoroughly recommend CDD to anyone seeking expertise in Architectural Design, Statutory Approvals, Planning & Building Regulations and Permissions. 5* for client support and satisfaction.

The work conducted was for two storey 6m x 10m side extension. Rob completed the drawings and assisted with obtaining the planning permission. I was able to maintain a good working relationship with Rob throughout and where difficulties arose we were able to resolve them. Rob employed other trades to complete some of the work. The completed by these trades was to a high standard and I was happy to have them work within my home. The build was completed on budget. It is important that if you are having building work done that you realise that not everything will go to plan, and that things you plan as a customer are not always practical. Rob was flexible and always contactable and open to negotiation re any changes. I am happy to recommend Rob.

After supplying me with a very detailed quotation (we had 6 in total with a wide range of prices ) we had several meeting to discuss the proposed 2 bed extension to my home. I decided that although not the cheapest his was probably the most realistic quote & I agreed that he would undertake the build. I have been on site every day and everything has gone pretty much to plan and we have talked through any issues as needed. His workmen have all been extremely helpful, tidy and thorough. Although the build is not quite finished I would highly recommend him and his team. Thanks Rob

Excellent service from start to finish. Very honest and thoughtful. Respectful to your home and needs. Rob Mitchell's staff pay much attention to detail and this is reflected in how much business is generated purely from word of mouth recommendations. They are a company that will tell you the truth and will do whatever is needed to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the end result.

Rob and the team from Charles Dean Developments have completed two projects at our house. We had no hesitation using them for the second time to rebuild our extension, including working with structural details to ensure compliance with roofing standards. The team is multi-skilled in ground works, building, 1st fix, lead working and build finishing. Their work is well organised and completed neatly. A pleasure to have the team on site.

I have no hesitation in recommending Charles Dean Developments Ltd. I have now known the company for several years. They did a very professional job when building our two-storey side extension over our integral double garage. The workmanship was very good and we were very satisfied with their performance both in speed of completion and the finish. They did an excellent job, & have always attended when asked, they were punctual and offered competitive pricing. Rob’s Architectural knowledge and his past experience working within the Local Government Architects Department, proved very useful when dealing with Building Control. The team daily left the site clean & safe while we lived in the house for a good eight months or more as work progressed around us. I am pleased to say all went as smoothly as could possibly be expected & the work completed to schedule & to budget, despite some complications with the existing building along the way, but these were expected given the nature of the extension. The good thing is our extension is almost impossible to detect against the original house as the new blends in perfectly, offering exactly what we sought when searching for a builder. We remain in contact with CDD which is useful when we have needed help or maintenance long after completion. CDD have forged a strong and lasting relationship with us and we would not hesitate to use them again.
