Located in the heart of London, the owners of this privately-owned, Grade II listed family home came to Chelsea Construction Company with some very specific goals: to introduce more light by rebuilding the rear façade, allowing for much larger windows, and to increase the available space through the construction of roof dormers in the attic as well as structural work to the lower ground level.
The history and location of the building made the whole project significantly more complicated:
The construction of a rear façade demanded temporary works to support the property
Underfloor heating needed careful design and build up to maximise the heat output
Air-conditioning was installed without impacting on the design or heritage of the house

Working with one of London’s top designers, we were tasked with a luxury refurbishment in this prime location. The clients desired the ultimate in contemporary style and specification. As such, the work consisted of the highest quality stones and finishes including Noir St Laurent marble, Lutron lighting, bespoke lacquered joinery, luxury carpets and specialist wallpaper and paint.
The historic façade of the building conceals an elegant, modern interior complete with the latest technology and elegant finishes which Chelsea Construction Company are known for.
