This project involved the stripping out of an existing, listed, timber framed barn. The existing timbers were protected and supported whilst the entire building was underpinned and new supporting plinth walls built up under the main frame.Infill panels were constructed between existing timbers and the structure was lined and clad externally. The property was built to a very high specification for insulation value and exceeded the Part L requirements for airtightness. Doors, skirtings, architraves and staircases were all in oak finish. The property consists of five bedrooms, three of which are en-suite, two further bathrooms, kitchen, utility room, services cupboard,lounge, dining room, study/office and integral garage.

In this project we gutted out an existing store/utility/workshop area. Removing chimney and providing structural support to sections of building above affected area, completely replastered the walls and rescreeded the floor area. New gas, water and electrical services were installed. A commercial kitchen was installed complete with appliances. Non slip flooring, decoration and tiling works were all carried out as part of the project.

The rather tired exterior of Watford Palace Theatre was completely cleaned down, brickwork and stonework repairs were carried out prior to a complete redecoration. New external lighting was installed, the timber front entrance doors were completely overhauled and alterations made to entrance kiosk. During the course of the works an enclosed scaffold was constructed over the entrance of the theatre, the footpath and the adjacent bus stops to ensure continued safe useage by the public.
