We'd used Construct & Repair to build a rear storey extension to our previous property. When we started the search for a new house, we contacted Construct & Repair to enquire about their availability, as given our previous experience with them, they were the only company we'd consider using. Prior to purchasing the house, Construct & Repair were always willing to answer the “it this possible” questions for us. As with the previous project, agreeing the price was straight forward with everything well explained. Construct & Repair pointed out some potential issues with the design, that we could get corrected prior to starting construction, saving us costs later down the line. Construct & Repair were always on top of anything that came up, communicating solutions and options with us early and clearly. A lot of the same specialist trades who worked on our previous project also worked on this one, which added to the confidence and trust we have in Construct & Repair.

Construct & Repair built a rear extension for us on our new build house. Right from the initial visit to have a look at our plans they were incredibly helpful. They advised us of any constructability issues and really explained what the works would involve so that we could understand the impact the build would have and plan around it. The other point really worth mentioning is how clean and tidy they were. The site was always left tidy and secured with fencing. Neighbours commented on the tidiness throughout the build.

I had 2 load bearing walls removed and steels installed by Tom and very glad we used his firm. Lovely guy and went above and beyond to complete the work to a high standard. Reliable tradesman seem to be hard to come by so would definitely recommend Construct & Repair.

Tom and Construct & Repair built us a rear extension and attic conversion including a hip to gable conversion - a lot of work. Tom provided a detailed quote which he talked us through. There were tricky remnants of previous construction to deal with but Tom dealt with them all in his stride. He expertly explained all of the construction work as it went along. The final result is great. We are really pleased and the job was delivered as per the quote. Great work, great result, carried out by a nice people with a reliable family business and all to quote.

Tom was really helpful knowledgeable when he came to the Philharmonic to look at a couple of issues we were having. He came up with solutions and then carried out the work on time and with no interruptions to the work going on at the Phil. Tom & his team carried out a lintel replacement for me. The existing lintel had failed and caused damage to the surrounding brickwork, causing the window below to leak. They replaced the lintel and installed a new cavity tray, and patched up the rendering. Quote was quick, works carried out very quickly and exactly when stated. Really pleased with the standard of the job and the price was fair. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Tom & his team again if needed in future!
