We recently worked with Cross Group for our extensive home renovations, which included a single-storey rear extension, a double-storey side extension and a porch addition. The team demonstrated an impressive work ethic, showing up diligently every day and making consistent progress in line with the agreed timetable. Their commitment to delivering on schedule was commendable. Ceri, the project manager, was receptive to our feedback and addressed the points we raised throughout the build. This open line of communication was greatly appreciated. The quote we received was fair and reasonable, especially when benchmarked against other builders. Cross Group recently built for us a large single storey extension and we highly recommend them. The job was relatively big (12-14 weeks) but was completed to time, budget and excellent quality. Surpassed expectations. Ceri's communication blew us away. From the outset he was responsive, transparent, honest and fair. We were given an extremely detailed quote setting out the work to be done, rough sequencing, and price for each element. This helped conversations down the line as we knew what's included/coming etc). Ceri was also never quick to say "that's extra". Solutions proposed always worked for both of us. Ceri's team were always clean, punctual, present, friendly, polite and created a nice atmosphere. CG are fully insured, which we benefited from during the job and is just another example of the smooth / professional operation. Ceri took us round his previous job (also in Heath). That customer was also singing his praises and the quality of the build spoke for itself.

Cross Group have recently completed a Double extension on our property in Penarth. Ceri came out to quote the job, I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. The price quoted was very reasonable. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work, Ceri and his team were always on site when they said they would be and the project was completed on time to a very high standard. We had a fantastic experience from Cross Group. They came in to take over a project that was left mid way by another builder. Having had such a negative experience with the original builder, we were really apprehensive. Ceri and his team were amazing. Right from the start, Ceri was extremely diligent, taking his time to provide us with a comprehensive quote. Any additional works were discussed and agreed prior to taking place and all invoices were produced in a highly professional manner, itemising each element clearly and Ceri discussed upcoming payments each week. The team were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them and the job was completed to the agreed price, within the agreed timescales. Huge thanks to Cross Group Building, they did a great job on our kitchen and were great to work with from quotation through to completion. They turned up on time every day, were clean and tidy in their approach and got the work done. Handled the need for design alterations and changes as they arose, and provided some good suggestions to unforeseen problems. Fair and honest when agreeing the need for additional work, and gave good recommendation for other traders we needed. Very happy with the service we received.

Outstanding from start to finish! Highly recommend. Ceri worked with us throughout the build helping refine our plans, overseeing the build and keeping us updated on progress on a daily basis. Always enthusiastic and with great attention to detail, he provided us with detailed fixed price quotes for the build and the extras we requested during the build. The price we were quoted was the price we paid. The build (including demolition of the existing garage and digging new foundations) was completed in 3 months. The building team were skilled, friendly and kept the site tidy, meaning we could easily continue living in the house throughout the build. Follow up since the completion has been excellent - the few minor snagging issues were dealt with very promptly and we feel confident that Ceri will be available should any issues arise in the future.

Cross Group Builders, what can I say apart from - what a fantastic job, thank you so so much! We are so pleased with our extension and have been very impressed throughout each phase of the build. A brilliant job! Not only did they complete the work quoted for, but they also were able to help me out when the boiler broke down completely even though I wanted the boiler moved! All the trades involved were helpful above and beyond, turned up on time and fitted in with my schedule. I had to go away and I was proved right in their trustworthiness. I have no hesitation in recommending Cross Group Builders. I will definitely use them again.

5 stars , Ceri and team were fantastic. They kept me calm and informed throughout the whole build , and nothing I asked them was too much trouble . Ceri also advised me on many aspects of my loft room and I trusted him entirely . It really was a pleasure having them around . They were not noisy , were very respectful of my neighbours and did an excellent clearing up job . In fact the whole team of builders from plumbers to roofers etc were all so polite and efficient. I really can not recommend your firm highly enough. Thanks and great job!
