We recently had a single story ground floor extension and kitchen renovation completed by Dan and team. He removed an old and tired conservatory and replaced it with an open plan space containing a snug, dining area and new kitchen with herringbone flooring throughout the ground floor. The result is absolutely stunning and we cannot thank Dan enough. From start to finish his team were personable, communicative, tidy and absolute perfectionists. Dan’s pricing is honest and fair, with the whole build coming in on budget. It’s been an absolute pleasure having Dan and team in our home and can’t thank them enough for the transformation they have made to our family home. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Dan again, he is a class act. Thank you Dan.

If you are looking for a great carpenter I would highly recommend Dan and his team. I found them to be punctual, courteous and completely trustworthy. The work they did on my conservatory roof is outstanding. They listened to what I wanted and delivered to a very high standard. I will certainly be using them again.

Dan carried out a ground floor rear extension which included internal adjustments to the ground floor layout of our house. From our first enquiry and throughout the build Dan was very communicative and responsive to any queries we had. At all times he kept us updated on progress and where issues arose always sort us out to discuss before proceeding to ensure we were happy. This has resulted in us achieving the finish and quality that we had in mind when planning our build. We’re incredibly grateful to Dan and his team for all their hard work and wouldn’t hesitate to instruct again.

Dan and his team renovated the downstairs of our house as well as external rendering and driveway, plus a number of other small works around the house. The service was impeccable and the team were an absolute pleasure to have in our home. Polite, clean and works to a high standard. Dan keeps organised records on every cost and ensures there is open communication at all times - which meant there was not a single decision made along the way that we weren’t part of, and there were no surprises when it came to stage payments etc. Would use Dan again in future for any building works, big thanks to the team for making our home somewhere to be proud of

We feel very lucky to have found Dan Bird and team, they made our build process a great experience. From the detailed costing, scheduled planning, on-site build, clean up and efficiency we couldn’t have asked for a better team. There are numerous stories of traumatic builds and renovations but this is one of the triumphs. Dan Bird and his team of craftsmen came on time, were friendly and very helpful at all times during and after the re-modeling renovations to our kitchen, bathroom, hall and conservatory. Nothing was ever a problem and in fact Dan Bird’s favourite saying was ‘Every problem has a solution in disguise’ and he kept to his word. All the work was completed to our satisfaction at a very high standard with little mess and always clean on the builders departure each day. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would recommend the craftsmanship. In fact we have already called the team back and they have constructed a new large composite deck for us which looks great. We were lucky to find such good people. John & Rita Gilbert.
