We had the pleasure of building this curved garden wall for a customer in Astwood Bank, Redditch. The job involved us removing a couple of bushes, digging a footing and concreteing it then building this curved, one brick thick wall with intermittent pillars. We topped the wall with blue brick on edge and the pillars with a tile crease and blue brick to make a contrast with the rest of the facing bricks. To save a bit of money the client madeand fit the fencing himself, all in all making for a decorative job, bound to add curb appeal to any home.

We converted this garage into a utility, downstairs w/c and a snug/mancave. Giving the family a lot more useable space downstairs and made their home much better suited to their needs. To do this it involved knocking down the one side wall of the garage, raising the floor and roof level, studding and insulating the internal walls, we cut 2 new windows into the back elevation and bricked up most of the garage door leaving a nice arrowslit window, put a new lean-to tiled roof on and installed anthracite grey windows and doors before boarding and plastering internally. All plumbing and electrics we're carriedout by our trusted and long serving sub-contractors all making for a tidy and hassle free build!

This is one of two extensions we ended up building for this family in Claverdon. This one was an extension to the kitchen at the back of the property. Our work schedule included knocking down an existing outbuilding, digging and concreting footings, building the brickwork and block work, fitting the intricate steel work to support the roof, allowing the customer to have as much light/windows as possible, the roof itself and internal works to include tiling the floor and fitting the new kitchen. All electrics and plumbing was done by our fully qualified and trusted sub-contractors.

This type of job seems to have become quite common to us and involves knocking through or taking out an existing dividing wall between a kitchen and dining room or garage to make a bigger more open plan feel to the downstairs of a property. This example in Redditch is one of our favourites and works included, taking down the existing dining room/kitchen dividing wall. We then plastered up and made good before fitting new flooring throughout the new kitchen/dining area and the conservatory (which would now be used as a dining room) and installing the new kitchen cupboards, appliances and worktops. Again we worked alonside our long term sub-contractors who provided the plumbing and electrics for us leaving the client with this stunning new heart of the home!

We were tasked with fitting this stunning oak roof to some disused iron posts and brick seating area for a regular customer in a garden in Morton Bagot. The idea was to turn an unused bit of garden into and undercover area for entertaining. Once we'd finished the customer was left with a stunning area, built to withstand the elements that will be hosting parties and barbecues for years to come. Our works included, winching the big oak ring beam into place and fitting oak rafters and a sunburst beam in the gable. These new square timbers were "aged" to add character and we then lathed the roof with oak battens and tiled it with dreadnought tiles. the job was finished off with rolled lead hips and a lead plinth detail for the customer to put a statue on once the work was finished.
