Job: Reseat/ replace damaged capping stones and repoint the Charles 2nd Gate at Grade 1 listed Castle Menzies, Weem, Scotland.

Task: Remove/ replace capping stones that protect the Gate. Rake out vegetation and damaged lime mortar and repoint. Insert steel pins and bed in, to secure capping stones. Bed and seat capping stones and repoint. Repoint in lime mortar

Take down all paintings, illustrations and panels 

Timber panelled room. All panels repaired, flatted down. Heritage colour scheme as agreed with Castle Manager. Flat panels repainted - Stiles and rails picked our in Crème.

Flooding to Grade 1 listed Castle. Prolonged rainfall resulted in ground floor Castle flooding. Aco drainage system to carpark  and permeable pipe drainage system to perimeter of castle installed as part 1 of two part flood defence proposal. New manhole installed along with clearance of land drainage system.
