We here at Ds damp proofing installed a cavity mesh membrane system with a cement render finish to this vault in London for storage space after years of damp and ingress of water.
We first started by applying a cavity drain membrane system to all internal walls and floor, so ingressing water can be collected into base drainage channels throughout the wall/floor junction and pumped out to safe drainage using a underground pumping system. we then applied two coats of cement render to wall with a float/sponge finish and screed to floor.
Now waterproofed the vault applies to Grade 3 of the environmental table within BS8102:2009. following the success of this project
