We undertook the complete refurbishment of this large Victorian house. Structural walls were removed to open out the space and create a considerably larger kitchen-dining area and larger master bedroom with a dressing room. In terms of construction whilst working to a very specific high quality design specification that included retaining some of the original features (such as reusing existing floorboards) and installing bespoke concrete tiles with inlayed brass. We added a few fun items like a laundry chute from the children's bedrooms to the utility room, and a secret button-activated retractable bookcase.

This 1930's terrace was brought up to date with an imaginative rear extension and zinc roof. Some of its original period feel was sustained by reclaiming and relaying the existing parquet floor and installing crittal windows and doors.
