This project is ongoing and was recently inspected on 03/02/2023 by the inspection company the BBA on behalf of FMB

The below photos were provided by the builder as part of the inspection.

The project consists of a side and rear extension with internal alterations.
The two storey extension has been covered with a pitched interlocking concrete tiled roof, the single storey has a flat roof.
The walls are constructed of traditional brick and block cavity insulated, externally finished with facing brick, built on a raft foundation with a solid concrete floor sla.

Internally large steels have been inserted supporting the knock through and upper floor, new concrete lintels have been inserted where the layout of the existing is being reconfigured. All walls and ceilings have been plaster finished as different trades are completing the other works.

This consisted of hacking off internal walls, new wiring and plumbing ensuring compliant with building regulations, internal wall insulation, laminate flooring and decorative cornice coving.
The result was a warmer, more comfortable and energy efficient home, which not only saves on the energy bills but turns this run down property into a beautiful home.
All work was undertaken under the watch of Local Authority Building Control and exceeding clients expectations.
