GN Tuck builders are proud to have been involved in the recent renovation of The Ratcatchers at Eastgate, Cawston.
GN Tuck was the obvious choice for new owner Graham Byrne when he bought the once popular pub after it closed in 2014. The Ratcatchers was one of the first food pubs in the county and used to be booked up months in advance during its heyday but had fallen into a state of neglect.
Graham wanted to return it to the high-end, quality food establishment that it had once been so an ambitious refurbishment, both inside and out, including raising the ceilings in the pub and kitchen, plus a refit to the highest standard was undertaken.
This has resulted in the incredible transformation you can see today boasting nearly 100 covers for diners and a spacious open plan bar area with many original features. This project was brought in on time and within budget.
