This Case Study is a classic example of adopting changes throughout the design and build phases. The client in this case, had a pre-conception of how large their extension should be, where the kitchen was to be located, and where their dining table was to be used.
As our staff have extensive experience of Kitchen installations and in particular, use of open plan living, we convinced the client that due to the limited width of the building, a deeper extension than they envisaged, would be the only solution to enable them to use the proposed space in the way they had dreamed of.
During the construction phase of the project and following various site meetings with the clients, it became apparent that they now preffered a Large Kitchen/Family Room rather than a Kitchen/Dining/TV Area. We eventually changed the entire design and position of the new Kitchen/Family Room, and even converted an existing room adjacent the Kitchen, to their new Dining Area.
Because these changes where discussed, together with mockup layout's sprayed on the floor, all before installation was required, these changes were carried out with very little cost implications.
