We recently completed this single-storey rear and side extension with a fabulous full glass rear slide door with Apex Window, plus flat glass windows in the flat roof over the new kitchen/living area.

New flat roof overlay system - Complete with 10 year warranty Clear all flat roof area ready to receive new covering Cut back existing flashing's. Remove 2 rows of tiles from bottom of pitches to allow for new upstand. Remove existing tiles on either side of the valley and set them aside to re use, to allow for new flat roof covering. Supply and install 11mm OSB ply decking board securely with mechanical fixings. Supply and install 3-layer High-performance torch on felt system. 

We completed this re-roof last week in Slough for a domestic client. The team carried out a full strip of the roof, cleared and cleaned the site, laid insulation in the loft space and boarded the loft to provide the customer with additional storage.

The roof was then felted and battened and new Redland Tudor Brown tiles were laid with a new dry ridge system.

We stripped off the original roof covering of this extension flat roof, which is at the rear of a high street retail space. The client recently took over occupation of the ground floor retail space and is converting the accommodation into office space. The extension flat roof at the rear of the property was leaking and was already well past its useful life and was leaking. This was a cold roof and we installed insulation and this is now a warm roof, with a triple layer torch on system. 

This was a new client in Upper Holloway, London N19, where we installed a new Spanish Slate roof and then working with a competent NICEIC electrician, add solar to the roof.

The client managed to get 6 JA Solis solar panels, which each have the capacity to generate Kwp of 405w, giving a potential total 2.4kw (STC)

The client has opted for Pylontech battery storage with a Solis Invertor.

The solar panels were installed to rear of the property.

We have a team of competent roofers who can reroof and install the solar to the new roof.

Completely stripped back existing roof covering, Currently, GRP and below this is original Ash felt covering to be taken up back to decking board.
Once the Roof covering was fully stripped, we thoroughly inspected the decking boards for stability and rot. There had been continuous water penetration for a long period and photos were provided - New decking board was required. We supply and installed 18mm OSB decking board mechanically fixed to allow new roof covering to be installed. We also had to supply and install a new plyboard.
Supplied and installed a 3-layer High-performance torch-on felt system built of:
1: 1 x layer of 3G perforated membrane on top of the deck.
2: 1 x layer of fully bonded polyester-reinforced SBS-modified bitumen membrane
3: 1 layer of fully bonded capping sheet with a Maintenance free granular surface including full forming of all necessary detailing in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

This was a client who needed a full reroof.

The Roofing team at Hodgson Roofing (A division of Hodgson Construction) stripped the full roof and removed all the waste from site.

We supplied and fitted a new breathable membrane and fixed to the rafters. We then installed softwood treated battens.

The client chose a mini stonewall tile. Supply and fit new Capping's  securely fixed in accordance with latest British
Standards.

Supply, cut and dress to suit code 4 lead flashings to all necessary abutments.
These are to be set into brickwork by not less than 25mm wedged at maximum centres of 300mm and pointed out in a suitable sand/cement mix or suitable sealant. Lengths of flashings to be a maximum of 1.5m long as per Lead Sheet Associations
recommendations.

All installed to NFRC recommended standards

New roof - Complete with 10 year independent insurance backed warranty, works were carried out under or competent roofer self certification scheme meaning there was no building control required 

Scope of works:

Remove existing tiles, Supply, Ridge tiles, Hip tiles, Valleys, Cement fillets, Metal flashings, Timber battens, Under felt

This new roof is covered under the NFRC Competent Roofer Scheme.

Two roofing jobs at the same property, the freeholder contacted us with a specification to replace the main slate roof and also the flat roof on the ground floor extension.

Our roofers completed the job last week and we have already had a referral from the owner of the flat on the ground floor.

We worked for an independent builder on this project, where are roofers installed the breathable membrane, battens and the Redland rosemary plain tile. The waterworks still need to be installed but the tiling part of this project is now complete.

New Flat roof installed on a low level block of flats in Northwest London using a rubber roofing system.

We installed a new skylight to bring additional light into one of the hall ways. This systems comes with a 15 year manufacturers warranty and a competent roofer guarantee as we are members of the NFRC competent roofer scheme.

This was one bedroom unmodernized ground floor garden flat in West Hampstead, the client wanted a full refurbishment, including all floor joists being replaced, a re-wire and re-plumb, internal remodelling, creating an additional ensuite and bathroom and second bedroom. The Utility area was an unused cellar and is now a modern basement room. The Garden we re-designed and new composite decking was laid. All windows replaced and these are the images at the end of the project when the client moved back in.

This stunning new build was completed in the summer of 2021. The client bought the land with an existing property. They designed their dream home and Hodgson Construction saw the project from demolition through to the completed home.
