The DEN is a contemporary self-build under construction with a completion date of July 2024.

1980ft2 of living space, this property is designed as an ‘upside down’ house utilising the views of the Cornish landscape near Padstow. Architectural details and high spec finishes create a flawless property that maximizes the footprint. The interior design is carried out by our in-house interior designer who has experience working for white company and Soho House. The construction is using modern methods of construction in ICF and R-Wall which allowed for a 7 month program start to finish.

The Tractor Shed is a traditional barn conversion with a modern contemporary extension to double the living space and create a fantastic open plan living space which takes full advantage of the stunning views. 

HDD Projects have been appointed as the main contractor, project manager and interior designer on the project. This will be a full turn-key project where we delivery the full project from derelict barn to finished project including stunning interior designed space and curated furniture and lighting. 

The project was a private development where HDD Projects were the main contractor and project management consultants. The development consisted of 4 new properties, 3 terraced homes built in the traditional methods. New build development that created a unique bespoke product for the client who was very pleased with the outcome both quality, workmanship and financially. 

The blend of traditional and contemporary design can be displayed with the front and rear being contrast on materials. The interior space has been set out and enhanced with raised ceiling heights upstairs with a beautiful coastal kitchen design in dusky blue. Bathrooms and living spaces are open and airy creating functional living. Completed in January 2024.

This total rip out and re-fit was carried out in lockdown which bought its own difficulties. The property was a typical ’2up, 2 down’ and was converted into a ground floor open plan living, dining, kitchen area and upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms with a further bedroom added within the loft as a loft conversion. This property was completed within 12 weeks and added 160k to the value of the property.
