The project included stripping out completely and building new floors, ceilings, insulation, internal walls, electrics, plumbing, external doors, windows, plastering and fitting of a new kitchen and bathroom. Upon completion the building had been transformed and was ready for our customer and her dog to move straight into as their new home, our customer was very happy with our work and so was the building controller who signed the project off, our customer was particularly happy with the vaulted ceilings in both the Kitchen and the Bathroom and said she will be recommending us in future.

Our initial brief from our client was to create private living accommodation for a close family member. After several discussions with the customer about possible options we provided detailed 3d rendered digital images demonstrating what was possible, we accompanied this with a written quotation and a fixed price for the work to be completed. The project included converting a double garage with adjoining W/C into a sitting room and bedroom with en-suit, we then built an extension off the rear door which spanned the length of the main house, this space was used for a kitchen and was completed with a Firestone EPDM rubber roof, due to the position of the new kitchen we were unable to install windows so we finished it with large glass roof windows, fully glazed French doors and down lights to provide as much light as possible. The final outcome was independent living accommodation where an elder family member could live and be close to his family yet keep his independence.
