To whom it may concern, We required a skilled and experienced builder that would be able to take on all the challenges involved with completely renovating our four-bedroom house (re-wiring, re-plumbing, new windows, bathrooms, kitchen, plastering, flooring, driveway, etc!). I set about leading our research and I met with many builders, but it was the instinctive flow of ideas and detail that came from John Makkar (J&M Home Improvements) during his visit to our property that quickly convinced me that he would be the person to entrust with our project. If I was in any doubt, my subsequent first visit to his home to work through the detail of our project quickly confirmed that I had made the right decision. John has a self-evident passion for his work and the time we spent going over the details of our project both before, during and even after, went far beyond my expectations. Even before our renovation work was complete, through the hard work and dedication of John and his team of builders, I realised I was enjoying our build in a way I hadn’t expected. That came as quite a surprise given the prolonged stresses and strains that also come from the dust and disruption of a major renovation! We have now lived in our home for almost a year and it remains a genuine pleasure stepping through the front door. The quality of the work is clear for all to see and our memories of our old house feel totally eclipsed by the lovely home in which we now live. Instinctively, we would now always want to get J&M Home Improvement involved with any of our future projects. The only rather odd regret is that due to the comprehensive nature of our renovation work, we won’t be needing them back at this house anytime soon! We wish John and his team at J&M Home Improvement every success for the future.
