Main objective of project was to create more light and space. Existing kitchen was small and dark. Clients wanted as much space and light as possible where they could cook, dine and socialise with family and friends which wasn't possible in existing kitchen. Original design was with the architect and before building works started the kitchen designer and myself where involved in meeting with clients.

I have known James for many years and had asked him to do small jobs for me at my house. When I decided to build a new house I had no hesitation on giving James the job. From the beginning he listened to what I wanted, we worked together to achieve all aspects of the new build. I changed my mind several times during the work and at all times James was positive, always found a way and nothing seemed any bother to him. I believe I was probably a difficult client but James was always patient and quickly came up with ideas/solutions to for me to get exactly what I wanted. He attended to every detail even after we had moved in and he has been back a few times to deal with small issues. James was totally transparent about costs, very fair and honest throughout. I would highly recommend James to anyone wishing to build a new house. He is willing to learn new techniques to meet the highest specifications for eco-friendly, low-energy houses using the latest technology.
