At the beginning of 2023, we employed Dan Jenkins of Jenkins Carpentry and Construction to demolish a conservatory and then to build a glazed extension. From the presentation of the quotation until the finish of the project, Dan and his team were thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work with. Dan and his team were always organised and tidy on site. Some days we hardly knew that they had been here, were it not for the progress of the works. Changes to any works were discussed and quoted beforehand, so there was never any quibble on invoicing, which was clearly laid out in the contract. Dan and his team renovated our ensuite and downstairs toilet. Was hugely impressed by the whole team and their level of professionalism, communication and quality of work. Work was done to a very high standard and we were kept in the loop about the schedule of work at all times. Will definitely be using the team for future work on our property and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Dan and his team replaced a lean-to glass roof in an old building which had been leaking for several years. I have attempted to have it fixed twice in the past by roof specialists without much success! Dan has done a very thorough job replacing large glass panels and tying it all back in with complicated lead work. All the work is very neat and of a high standard. Dan and his team are professional, tidy, punctual and well priced. Having worked in the industry for years I am a very fussy customer, but can highly recommend Dan Jenkins and will continue to use him for future work without hesitation. No more leaks! Jenkins Carpentry & Builders carried out a loft conversion with en-suite for us. They were very efficient, honest and trustworthy. We were impressed with their attention to detail and level of communication throughout the build. The trades people brought in to assist with the work were also of the same high skilled and professional level. We would highly recommend this company.

Dan and his team have done a great job in what was not an easy property, due to the age and excentricity of the building, with no right angles. This is particularly true for the new open plan kitchen that is a huge success, due mainly to Dan's carpentry skills. Dan was always available to solve the many issues we encountered, with friendly professionalism. All members of his team were also highly professional and very easy to coexist with for such a long time!

Dan oversaw the building project for a new kitchen, two new bathrooms and front and back garden - as well as a significant amount of building improvement. It was a 4-5 month project. Dan was courteous, hardworking and ran a brilliant crew of many tradesmen. The timings were tricky and he managed the whole project extremely well. A gentleman too.

We got this company to build us bespoke wardrobes and a media wall to include recesses with lighting and an electric fire. In terms of the quality, we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome, everything is to a super high standard and Dan takes the time to add extra touches which really make a big difference to the overall look. Dan is reliable and arrives everyday on time. He is clean and tidy so even with major work being undertaken you can still go home and relax in a clean space. I would definitely recommend this company and thank them for creating us a lovely home.
