I very highly recommend Jonathan, Jane and their team - he/she/they helped me realise my dream of transforming a run down moorland cottage into a fabulous farmhouse. Jonathan and Pete the foreman provided a wealth of imaginative ideas, transforming an attached ruined barn into a beautiful dining hall (with vaulted ceiling and oak trusses on corbels) and creating a fabulous range of rooms within the house all based on a green oak theme - including three ensuite bedrooms, a superb open plan kitchen, oak conservatory and atmospheric granite-based study. Coupled with their imaginative input is excellent quality workmanship - it is now a year after they finished the house and no issues have arisen at all. Given the location - isolated in the middle of the wild moor and battered by all the elements - I think this is impressive. If you want imaginative, high quality work, look no further.

We chose Jonathan Case Builders and Contractors Ltd to undertake a project to create our retirement home situated in the beautiful Lynher Valley in Cornwall. The project involved substantial new build additions to a converted Cornish Barn consisting of a large separate annexe and a two-storey outbuilding with extensive landscaping. At the outset, it was clear that Jonathan and his team had a good understanding of the scope of the project and our requirements, working closely with us in resolving any issues that arose and assisting in detailed aspects of the design and specification. The on-site team was led by an experienced and knowledgeable foreman in charge of a skilled and committed workforce. Jonathan and his team made a superb job of our exciting project. All members of the team were diligent and considerate while we were in occupation during the works. We can thoroughly recommend the company and would not hesitate in using them again.

A warm, energy efficient home built to time and to budget with great kindness and professionalism. The home is beautiful and sits well in the setting. All the team were polite, quiet, very tidy and helped me to make good decisions. I lived next to the site, so this was important. We had regular meetings and daily contact. Supplies and trades were scheduled efficiently. After care has been superb with swift responses. I am so glad we chose a local small firm with such high standards.

Jonathan Case did a large 18 month renovation for us in 2016. It needed close cooperation with the architect and the oak framers. The result is a very high quality much admired building which suits us down to the ground. We are still on excellent terms with the architect, framers, builder and his electrician, tiler and plasterers. What more could we have wished for?
