The Renovation of a 16th Century, grade II*, Farmhouse and outbuildings.

When the work was presented to us, THE most interesting scope of works were

• Diminished course, random width, slate roof: Premium grade Welsh slate from Cwt Y Bugail

• Chimney reinstatement: Putting back, with a modern twist, the large tudor style chimney stacks. Using Welsh stone from Forest of Dean.

• Oak joiney: Internal joinery includes the substantial front door and some internal doors, but most spectacular of all is the oak panelling. All of which were hand crafted and finished with blacksmith forged ironmongery.

St.Marys Church

Great progress with works on St.Marys Church in Cardiff the past few days with the SPAB and the Caer Heritage Centre

Internal finishes.

There's light at the end of the tunnel on this two and half year project as some of the first internal finishes have been applied, in this case hot mixed hemp lime plaster.

Amazing opportunity!

It's not very often that we have the opportunity to commission such an exciting piece of work. Thankfully, this amazing sample has ticked the boxes and got us all excited for the plank and muntin screen, courtesy of Wigornia.
