Earlier this year Kevin and his team built us a fabulous oak and glass garden room extension to our cottage as well as completely refitting our kitchen and adding a patio area. We are extremely pleased with the end result which has been finished to a high standard. Everyone in the team was polite, friendly, good humoured and very responsive to our requests. And where we had questions or uncertainties, they immediately gave helpful advice and options. We were updated on tasks and progress most days and they definitely minimised the disruption to us by working in a particular order and communicating what was coming next. We benefitted from their professionalism and expertise – and they made what could have been a very stressful experience into a pretty smooth one. KL and son building have completed many jobs for myself and my family. These have included rebuilding a conservatory, installing windows and doors, installing kitchens, redecorating, converting a garage, installing new sinks and toilets and other general building works. The work has always been fairly priced and completed to the agreed timescale. Kevin and his team are always punctual, polite and hardworking - the ideal local building company. (Reviewed July 2018)

Excellent service. We are very pleased with our newly built extension of a kitchen and garden room. All has been finished to a high standard and with care. The communication has been excellent around the different stages of the project and they kept the level of disruption to a minimum for us.The team have been lovely to work with - friendly, skilled, flexible and professional. I asked three firms to tender for some work I wanted doing on my property. Although KL and Sons Building Services Ltd were not the cheapest I went for them because I had been impressed by Kevin, the owner, when he came to look at the job. The work was done by Kevins son and a colleague who arrived on time and well prepared. The pair was clean and tidy and had a spotless and well-organised vehicle - always a good sign. They did the work quickly and efficiently and tidied up immaculately on completion. They were a pleasure to have around the property. I do not regret having gone for a more expensive quotation. I consider this to be an excellent firm which gave me an efficient and personal service.

KL and Son went over and above when completing our kitchen renovation. They did the work to an excellent standard and were careful to clean up after each day of work. They explained everything they were going to do along the way, always checking with me should anything change. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We need some urgent repairs on another part of the house and they were my first port of call. Even with a heavy workload, Kevin and his team are once again going the extra mile in finding the time to get it completed.
