Willow Farm was designed by our in-house team, who had to work within various constraints to deliver 40 quality new homes in the village of Hibaldstow. The site is built on an old farmyard, which contained several derelict buildings that were unsafe due to long-term disuse. These buildings were built from local stone, and a key element of the brief was to repurpose this stone and incorporate it into some of the new homes. By successfully doing this, we were able to create an eye-catching entrance to our development which was in keeping with local architecture.

Our development was also to offer connectivity from one road to another, without becoming a vehicular cut through. Pedestrian access was designed to encourage walking to Hibaldstow Primary School, providing a healthier and safer environment with less vehicles around the entrance of the school, which lies opposite the site.

This was a bespoke development with many unique elements to us as a house builder. Manor Farm sits at the edge of a small village in rural Lincolnshire which is rich in wildlife, and steps were made to make the site ecologically friendly including the installation of bird boxes, swift boxes, sparrow terraces, bat boxes and a bespoke bat loft.

Manor Farm also has a unique mix of materials; clay tiles, cottage bricks and timber cladding were all incorporated. Dog tooth corbeled brickwork was used, and feature bricks were used to create quoins. The single-story barns feature open vaulted ceilings with king post trusses and gallery landings. The two-story barns feature large, glazed frontages. Each home was also customised internally by the customer, giving rise to some exceptional, unique interiors.
