Lee is not simply a builder; he’s a craftman. Over two years, he renovated our entire stone-built house. He did beautiful lime pointing (inside and out) and lime plasterwork; knocked through walls to make doorways with exquisite oak lintels, created stunning window openings (including one using an old mill wheel he found in the garden); brought old wooden worktop back to life as window seats and sills; created a wonderful larder with a stone sill for butter; laid stone (and tile) floors… and that’s just a sample of the work he has done! The quality of his work is nothing short of outstanding. (We did have to share him at times with other jobs, but he was here most of the time, always communicated when he couldn’t be here; and was always a delight to have around.) We really couldn’t be happier with the result and would thoroughly recommend him.
