This project has been featured in Grand designs magazine and Won FMB Northwest Medium renovation award. The project involved the conversion of a turn of the century house (previously extended and divided into two houses) back into one property again. The build comprised a full internal and external renovation and an additional extension across the rear. A key objective of the build was for a sympathetic renovation that retained the existing original features within no.60. This then formed a design guide, of joinery details, plasterwork and an overall aesthetic to incorporate back into the modified portion of the houseThe concept and general arrangement was initially developed between ourselves, the client and architect (RJG Architecture Ltd). After this was established, we worked closely with the client and interior designer Rachael Marsh (Feather & Paint) throughout the remaining development and construction phases of the project.
