The base for this project was a completely unmodernised 1960's 4 bedroom house. These make great starting points for a variety of different extensions and particularly loft conversions.
A single storey extension was built to the rear, which included the addition of steel beams along the back of the existing house wall, allowing us to 'open' the area into one large space. Leading on from here we created a terraced patio area with steps leading up to the existing garden.
Upstairs the entire loft space was converted to provide a further 2 bedrooms and we added 2 dormers to the existing roof to bring in even more light and space.

This property started out life as a 3 bedroom dormer bungalow. Originally built in the early 1970's, this type of property forms an excellent base for endless different types of modernisation and conversion.
The current owners approached us to convert and extend this property to provide them with a 5/6 bed house with an office.
The first task was to remove the existing dormers and roof. Following this we extended the outer walls upwards, including the garage walls to the side. A single storey extension was also added at this stage to the rear of the property.
