We recently worked with Looney & McAlister on a small extension and internal restructuring project to our home. From our early discussions with Shaun, it was obvious that these guys knew what they were doing, which really put our minds at ease right from the beginning. Shaun explained the process very well, providing a detailed cost breakdown, and even pointed out potential ways to keep costs down. As the build progressed, the standard of work was very high, and the crew did a great job of minimising disruption, tidying up after themselves at the end of each day. Kieran did a fantastic job of managing the build, and was very accommodating and easy to work with. Nothing was a problem that could not be sorted out. What sets L&McA apart is the care and attention to detail, even as the job was nearing completion. They are obviously proud of the work they do, and rightly so. The results exceeded our expectations, and they will be our first port of call for any building work in the future. Very highly recommended.

Recently we engaged Looney and McAlister Ltd to carry out the building work involved with our new kitchen and adjoining sunroom. We were 100% satisfied with all aspects of the work carried out. The men worked at a very fast pace knocking walls down, carrying away the debris and plastering the whole area. They were meticulous in clearing up the mess every day which was much appreciated. In addition, Shaun McAlister's advice and guidance was essential, even on parts of the work which wasn't his responsibility, in ensuring the project went according to plan. We would highly recommend this company.

Looney & McAlister have just completed a new two floor retail premises for us at 66 Main Street, Larne. This was quite a difficult build to complete due to access, availability of services and stone walls of adjoining buildings. As Main Contractors, they dealt with these problems immediately and with minimum inconvenience to the public and their Client. They are surrounded by a very experienced team of professional tradesmen and all the work was carried out to a very high standard within the required time limit. They have worked very closely with Architects and with all service providers. We are very pleased with the finished building which is now fully tenanted and would thank Shaun and his team for the way the whole contract was carried out.

We would like to thank Shaun & Kieran plus their terrific crew for all their work and efforts on this large & detailed project, which turned a nine year old derelict, overgrown building into what is now a beautiful home in just over fifteen months of hard work. Particularly impressive was their attention to both the detailing of the building plus assistance & guidance in selecting quality suppliers & sub-contractors in other trades needed to assist the works needed for renovating & extending the original house. This included the construction of a magnificent driveway down to the promenade, this entailed both digging out & removal of over 100 lorry loads of earth, plus the construction of high retaining walls. In addition, they importantly throughout the project came up with many suggestions & ideas which were incorporated in the project, these were both for improvements & also cost savings suggestions. Finally & importantly the whole project was completed in a spirit of co-operation, harmony & friendship. We would totally recommend them to anyone who needs quality building works at a very competitive price,
