Eight months on from the completion of a significant refurb, we remain highly satisfied by all the work done to revamp our home. Work involved adding extensions, upgrading insulation, refits of both bathroom and kitchen, creating a wet room, adding skylights as well as plastering, rewiring, tiling, roofing, carpentry and redecoration. The apprehension felt on embarking on the work was soon allayed by the efficiency, co- ordination and evidence of quality work by the team involved. Communication and co-ordination with ourselves and the other trades allowed for an early conclusion to the work, some weeks earlier than initially stated. All the trades and staff involved were courteous, purposeful, offering suggestions, giving attention to detail and maintained a tidy site. I have already recommended LPB Builders to friends. The personnel involved and their administration made for both easy progression of the work and a successful outcome.

We had some building emergency work to be done on our gable end, which we had found to be in a dangerous state. Lee and his team gave a very swift response, completing the work within 2-3 weeks from our initial contact, despite the fact that he had a busy schedule of ongoing work. Lee keeps all the work his team does under close supervision and we were able to speak to him each day when the men were on site. The guys were efficient, hard workers and a pleasure to have around. We have been delighted with the quality of LPB Builders work for us. LPB Builders were employed to conduct garage roof structural changes which included the removal of fink trusses, replacing them with raised tie trusses to facilitate a golf simulator. The communication from Lee and his office staff was great throughout which included liaising with timber engineers to provide me with different options to consider. The job started and finished on time and to the agreed costs. The workmanship by the team was outstanding and professional. With someone with mild OCD I was pleased to see the the site was immaculate when they departed. I highly recommend LPB builders and will use them again for any future work.

A complete House renovation is a step into the unknown for a families. The full extent of what is required to achieve the architects vision was not easily understood. The choice of LPB Builders to deliver the project was immediately the right choice. Lee and Rebecca made the process of rebuilding the house from start to finish a manageable and understood process, from the breakdown of costs and when the work elements would be complete all was explained and documented. As with any project alterations occur, these were all agreed and priced up which made budget management very straight forward. We hired Lee to fulfil our dream of an Extension/Garage-Home Cinema conversion and from the outset it was apparent that we were dealing with a friendly, professional team. Any additional issues uncovered during the building works were immediately identified and costed so there were no nasty surprises when the invoices came through from Rebecca. My wife and I were impressed with the whole team, they were all hard-working, respectful and friendly, and a joy to have in our house. In fact, we were so delighted with the work of Lee and his team that we increased our original budget to have further works done whilst they were on site (including a lovely patio and block paved alleyway). At the end of each day they would tidy up too, which was a welcome surprise. We have nothing but praise for LPB Builders and they come fully recommended.

When I told our architect we'd hired LPB Builders she said "you're in very good hands". She wasn't wrong; Lee, Dayle & the team are everything you hope for when entrusting someone with a major renovation project. They've been pragmatic, creative, uncannily accurate with timeframes, and above all they've done a bloody good job. On numerous occasions, Lee and Dayle went above beyond - from fixing our neighbours gate to coming up with creative solutions to turn unexpected pipe boxing into a beautiful decorative bookcase. They put a lot of care and pride into the work which hasn't gone unnoticed. Having a double storey side extension and internal alterations is probably the second biggest expenditure you ever make, after buying a house, as well as being potentially stressful so choosing the right building company is critical. A friend recommended Lee from LBP Builders who then provided us with numerous recommendations of satisfied customers all who confirmed what a great job Lee and his team had done. We found Lee to be hard working, diligent, straight talking, committed and highly experienced delivering what he promised. The building work was well project managed by Lee & Rebecca and the skilled trademen working with Lee were experts in their trades resulting in us being delighted with the work which was completed to a high standard. The few snags we found were all quickly fully rectified. You get what you pay for in life and so if you want a quality job done we highly recommend Lee, Rebecca and LBP Builders.

Lee has done two projects for us in recent months. They removed two windows and two sections of plastic cladding from an outside wall and replaced it with face brickwork to match the existing brickwork. Lee's team got a great match to the existing brickwork, and it blends in nicely. Lee also laid drainage for and installed a new toilet on the ground floor. Lee was always available to talk through queries and accommodated a number of requests we made without question. The tradespeople Lee works with are very good quality, friendly, hardworking and tidy. They had nothing but good things to say about Lee and his experience as a builder. Rebecca does a great job as the central point of contact in the office and is very friendly and efficient. The final invoices came through exactly as quoted. We are delighted with the work on both projects and would not hesitate to recommend LPB Builders.

This was my first ever extension project and I chose to live-in during the build which I imagined might be tough. However, Lee and his team were great from start to finish and it's been a pleasure to have them carry out the job. They always kept a tidy site. Lee took all the trouble and worry out of the build for me by taking charge of all the suppliers and contractors during what was a very difficult year, and stuck to budget. We were very impressed with Lee from the first time he came to have a look at the plans for our extension. He was friendly, knowledgeable and turned up when he said he would- always a good start! LPB Builders then went on to build a long side extension and new kitchen/utility room. We were very happy with all the tradesmen on site and they left the site tidy each day. Lee was always available to pop by to address queries and check final details with us. Our kitchen is absolutely stunning (designed by us, but executed by Lee’s carpenters). Lee has good trade links for kitchen/flooring etc that we used. Under a year later we employed him again to convert our garage - another excellent job! Rebecca, Lee’s wife, is the main point of contact by email and she was always quick to get back to us, and super efficient. Lee and his team did a rear single storey and side 2 storey extension for my family in the summer of 2019, including fitting a new kitchen / diner and 2 bathrooms. He came highly recommended from friends that we trust and they were spot on with their advice. Lee took a really hands on approach from the start with advising on design and then managed the project through to the end which took a lot of the stress away from us. We had issues with the supplier of bathroom products going in to administration and Lee was instrumental in minimising the damage in terms of stress and financially. He started a week early and finished ahead of when we expected. He has a great team and made sure that someone was always on site and he was always available to talk to when he wasn’t. The end result looks fantastic and that is in no small part down to the fact that the small details and finishing touches matter to Lee. As is normal, we had a few items of snagging for the team to finish off and they were done within days. We highly recommend Lee and his team.

We have been really impressed from the day we made contact with LPB Builders and their owner Lee. The service has been excellent, with accurate information and great communication. Lee turns up on time for meetings and helps with sensible advice and experience. Going through the plans he suggested improvements and ways that would help the build and save money. When it came to the actual build, this has been first class. The materials all turned up on time, he liaised with the local building inspector and managed the project from start to finish. He was very accurate with timings and our large extension took shape within a matter of weeks. He started the project in April and finished in July as per his agreed timings. The level of work was to a high standard and the teams of Builders, Plumbers and Electricians he used were always friendly and polite. At the end of each day they always tied up after themselves, ready for the next day. We are delighted with our extension and the excellent service we received from LPB Builders. I've used Lee for a number of projects, the largest of which was a garage conversion. Of all the tradespeople we've appointed throughout our renovation, Lee is without doubt the most reliable and hardest working. He doesn't cut corners and definitely knows his stuff. It was our great pleasure to work with Lee to build our dream kitchen. We met Lee on a cold January morning to discuss our requirements, & showed us around a kitchen he had just built for another client. We were able to see his quality work & meet & chat with his client which was brilliant. It immediately set us at ease that we were working with a professional. Flash forward a year & we had our project underway. We had a kitchen design, architect design all sorted. Lee was brilliant through the whole process, explaining & asking us what we wanted. From demolishing our old kitchen, installing a temporary kitchen while he built our new one & ensuring the new kitchen was installed to a very high finish with great attention to detail. We ended up with a beautiful kitchen. This wasn’t just internal work; Lee also built a beautiful patio for us that gives a fantastic effect when you walk out of the kitchen. Here are two little anecdotes to show how awesome Lee is and that he goes the extra mile for the customer; 1. One of the showpieces of our kitchen is an American double door fridge. As luck would have it, the UK had a national shortage of Samsung fridges that year. We managed to track one down but it needed to be delivered a month before the kitchen was ready. Lee volunteered to help us store the fridge while he finished the kitchen. This helped us massively & was great service. 2. We had two beautiful velux windows in our extension design. Lee looked at the design and recommended we get larger windows installed to give more light. This really was brilliant advice as it has made all the difference for light in the kitchen. This was a great piece of advice and Lees experience really came into play here & really helped make the kitchen light and spacious. So in short, we hope it’s clear by now that Lee isn’t your average builder. Hes quite literally one in a million and if you are looking for a quality guy look no further

Finding a competitively priced good quality builder in your local area that you can trust and rely on is always at the forefront of your mind when you’re looking for work to be done on your own home. From contacting Lee at the start of the project I got this impression, he came across very thorough and knowledgeable which was shown by providing a full breakdown in his initial quotation. Lee started on the date he committed to, several weeks prior to starting and finished the project 2 weeks ahead of schedule, turning up on time every day and even working the odd weekend. The attention to detail in his work was very impressive to say the least, always contacted me to give a full update most days on the progression of our 2 storey rear extension and talking to my architect weekly to ensure all plans were followed correctly. Lee made recommendations for other tradesman to assist such as plumbing, electrics and supplying doors and windows amongst other external and internal suggestions which shows his experience and customer service to get the job done. Lee has transformed our family home to the highest standards and I would highly recommend him.

We had been recommended Lee when we needed a builder to build brick walls, fit RSJs and reconfigure our house, well what can we say, brilliant, his work is excellent, when we had other trades come to the house they commented on Lees brickwork, we have used him now on 2 refurbs, we will be doing houses up in future, and we will wait until Lee is available, we would not consider using anyone else, when he says he will be there, he turns up-no excuses! I am happy for anyone to come and see Lees work, we don't want you to use him though, as his waiting list will get longer!
