The project involved the rebuild of the rear of a Victorian terraced house plus an extension in a exclusive part of Bristol which also is a conservation area. The extension incorporated a kitchen, living area and downstairs WC as well as internal renovations including increasing the first floor to incorporate an ensuite bathroom to the main bedroom, renovation of the existing main bathroom plus the addition of windows to existing bedroom and stairwell. As the project progressed, the specification was expanded to incorporate renovation of the rear garden and installation of fitted furniture to the interior. The objective of the project was to create an larger, more open and modern living area for the client The original design was carried by Philip Clifford Design who are also based in Bristol.
