Magic Projects fitted a glass extension with moss living wall, a custom built bookcase, a handmade kitchen, mirrored joinery, custom-built garden seating (including lighting) and new floors. Due to its innovative design, the large blue bathroom was featured in Ideal Homes Magazine. Crucially, as the property is in a conservation area, it was paramount that we preserved its historical character when incorporating the needs of its new owners. The result is a nature inspired, contemporary space flooded with natural light and oozing craftsmanship. This project was published twice. The kitchen extension featured in ‘Essential Kitchens Bathrooms and Bedrooms’ and the blue bathrooms was featured in ‘House Beautiful’. Read less

Due to the source of recommendation and the type of project we have agreed to use our expertise to complete the works. Apart from working with sophisticated finishes we had to diagnose and rectify numerous issues with electrical and mechanical installations, structural waterproofing, faulty UFH, etc. We have worked closely both with the architect and the client to make sure the investment was worth it in the end. One of the key features is the contemporary two-storey extension at the back of the house with large black aluminium bi-fold doors to the garden. The skylights used in the large kitchen and the glass extension flood the property with light creating a vast and contemporary space. Period features were also retained to preserve the building’s character, and original floorboards were renovated throughout. Magic Projects created custom-made joinery pieces so that every door and worktop was a perfect fit for space. A green roof and solar panels were fitted to future proof the property and underline client’s care for the environment. Read less

Magic Projects completely renovated the interior and exterior by rebuilding the grand hallway and fitting a new natural slate roof. As the property is in a conservation area the contemporary extension was designed in sympathy with its surroundings. Original ceiling roses were fitted and a custom-made staircase was installed leading all the way to new loft conversion. To future-proof the conversion, Magic Projects lowered the garden by three feet to ensure a seamless flow from indoor to outdoor. Read less

Magic Projects rebuilt the dining room and bathroom, refitted the kitchen, and redecorated most of the rest of our Victorian house. Everyone who sees their work comments on the high quality of the finish. They were particularly good when it came to looking after the best bits of what we already had (e.g. renovating what was left of the original kitchen range as a splashback) and what they added fitted in seamlessly (e.g. new cabinets and doors made to match existing panelling). All the small problems you'd expect to encounter on a project of this size have been put right without question. Overall we're delighted with our new space and how it came into being... Magic were great to work with and we have been, and continue to be, happy to recommend them to others.

Following Magic's excellent previous work building our new staircase extension in our office. We asked them to come and fit out our new workshop and reception. The work included internal drylining, fitted and loose birch ply furniture, flooring and decorations. The work was carried out to a high standard, with minimal impact on the day to day running of the office. The team were well organised, skilled and motivated, and we would be happy to work with them again.

Magic Projects were recommended to us by friends conducting a full house renovation and conversion and we were very impressed with their quality of work and service. We decided to hire Magic based on this evidence but also the professionalism of Maciek, the principal. We then embarked on a large-scale rear conversion of our Victoria terraced house and could not be happier with the results! The build quality, the attention to detail, the finishing, the guidance, the knowledge of finishes/appliances, the team themselves who were constant throughout and so on. They worked 8am-5pm every day of the week and 8am-2pm on Saturdays. Feedback from our neighbours, friends and family has been universally positive and we have several looking to use Magic for their own projects.

Admittedly, I am usually sceptical about testimonials but I want to give credit where credit is due. Magic Projects was recommended to me by a friend who had extensive work carried out by them last year. Having now called upon them myself, I found the Magic team to be a genuinely hardworking group of professionals who were always courteous, attentive to all my requirements and delivered work of a very high standard. Every member took pride in their work. They helped me enormously as I refurbished my own home and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Furthermore, I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking their services.
