Situated on a prestigious private road in Hertfordshire, we worked with UCHI Architecture and HH Interiors to transform a dated house into a stunning forever home. Set across three floors, this property features five bedrooms, three with ensuites, and a third-floor master suite with a dressing room. It also includes two offices, a playroom, utility room, living room, WC, coat cupboard, pantry, and an open-plan kitchen/living/dining area with a sunken seating space.

The home is heated by a traditional boiler with underfloor heating on the ground floor. Lutron smart lighting enhances key areas, bringing to life exceptional design elements from UCHI and HH.

Externally, we created a raised Millboard deck for seamless indoor-outdoor flow and remodeled the front driveway.

This full design & build project is underway, set for completion in December 2025. Designed within a set construction budget, the home spans four floors, making the most of its stunning countryside views.

It features a semi-basement with a cinema, gym, and bespoke bar. The upper floors will house five spacious bedrooms, four bathrooms, a study, and a snug. A generous kitchen-diner will serve as the heart of the home, complemented by a utility room.

Externally, a double garage and oak-framed carport will provide ample parking. With construction progressing, this project highlights our expertise in delivering high-end, bespoke homes from concept to completion.

By embracing the change in height, we installed two feature steps leading into a stunning kitchen, dining, and living area, complete with a separate utility room. A wall of glass showcases the incredible garden, seamlessly connected via a flush decking structure.

Collaborating with JW Bespoke and OFP Timber Frame, we restructured the home to eliminate most steelwork, replacing it with a thermally efficient timber frame.

Set in an exclusive Hertfordshire estate, Project 3106 highlights the transformative impact of a ground floor extension and remodel.

We worked with our clients to redesign the foundation due to "made-up ground" conditions, incorporating piled foundations. Internally, we stripped back finishes and carried out structural work to create an open-plan living space.

Upstairs, we remodeled three bathrooms, reworked bedrooms, and upgraded electrics and heating, giving the home a fresh feel. The ground floor features a spacious kitchen, living, and dining area with bespoke joinery by Daniel Ramsey, alongside a utility room, pantry, WC, office, vaulted entrance porch, and living room.

A standout feature is the stunning eight-meter Minima sliding door, seamlessly framing the countryside views.

Once a peculiar home on a prime Hertfordshire plot, this stunning new build maximizes space and embraces the site's natural slope. Designed by UCHI Architecture, the home features a striking triple-height hallway and seamless transitions in ceiling height.

Set within the heart of St Albans is the well known "Rug shop" building. Purchased by our clients in 2021 as an investment the current building was unloved and in need of serious work to bring it back to life.

We began by stripping it back to its bare bones to carry out some structural investigation to allow us to work on a design to add another floor to the building. After a drawn out planning resubmission we were given the green light to carry out an in-depth structural rebuild of a good portion of the building, this meant it was now sufficient structurally to add a fourth floor.

Converting a redundant barber shop, we then were able to deliver five high end finish apartments set over three floors and a refurbished retail unit.

The fifth floor apartment includes views across the city of St Albans most notably the historic cathedral and city centre.

Our clients approached us after obtaining planning permission for their dream home, having already demolished the existing property to create a blank canvas. Facing challenging ground conditions, we installed 34 piles to support this impressive three-story family home.

With a carefully selected interior designer, the project featured bespoke materials sourced globally, which our skilled contractors executed flawlessly. The home includes seven bedrooms—four with ensuites—two family bathrooms, a gym with a sauna, playroom, snug, two offices, a spacious kitchen-diner, pantry, utility rooms, living areas, and a double garage.

Sustainability was key, with an air source heat pump, underfloor heating on two floors, MVHR for air quality, air conditioning in select rooms, and a rooftop PV array feeding into a battery system.

At 7,700 square feet, this home is a true masterpiece.
