The aim was to create a mix of social housing for rent and shared equity houses, providing quality homes, and encouraging people to remain on the island thus supporting the local economy. The design was a collaboration between the architects, the client, the structural engineer, and us, O'Mac Construction Limited. HHP provided detailed specifications to which we had to adhere and gave us details on components such as the external render finish, floor coverings, fittings & furnishings, kitchen specifications, external drainage, main services connections, and landscaping including a large open space community area.
