Our contract working on Rembrandt Gardens proved to be a more complex project than we first thought. We found that the rear wall of the building, which retained the footpath and carriageway, proved unstable and required propping. We therefore had to reinforce the concrete walls and cast a roof slab. A new storeroom and restroom was built for the park manager and colleagues.
New male and female toilets with vanity units and all conveniences were built, with an up to date extraction system which ensured supply of fresh air. The existing drainage system was lifted and a complete new drainage system laid as far as the main sewer drain. The interior was completely retiled and several areas required replastering as preparation. The reinforced concrete roof was covered with a proprietary roofing system and landscaped to provide a seating area and a viewing area across the canal. All the surrounding area was both hard and soft landscaped to provide walk areas and leisure areas.
The project was opened on programme by the mayor of London’s office.
In 2007, Rembrandt Gardens received its first Green Flag award and retained the award until 2008.

For this project Pavehall constructed a new extension to the front façade, to allow for a new drop in centre. We also refurbished the pre-school and Provision of a Sunday school, split over two levels. We also added glue laminated timber cross and roof beams.
New toilets were installed at the lower level to allow for the change in design of the Church and to incorporate The Disability Discrimination Act 2005, including the provision of ramped access and a disability lift to allow for access to the 2nd floor.
A complex fan and heat exchange system was incorporated into the existing church to allow for heat recovery trapped at the top of the church allowing for re-circulating during Sunday service.

The Notre Dame International University was built in 1816 and was originally built as the Women and Children's Hospital.
The building is a Grade II listed building with a glazed terracotta porch, that was donated by H Lewis Doulton who owned The Royal Doulton ceramics company. The project included window repair and replacements and full facade restoration, including stone wash and repointing. The roof consists of three different parts. The asphalt flat roof above the main building and the accommodation building were replaced using Liquid Plastic.
The slate roof and ceramic chimney pots were also replaced. The decorative turret air vents were removed by a crane and restored by a specialist. The flag pole's foundation was strengthened and the slate roof around it renewed. Other work included the removal of an external fire exit stair case and encasement of another external fire exit.
