This project started with the removal of the rear bay to construct a single storey rear extension. The rear of the existing property and the new extension were modernised with a new kitchen, new shower room, custom built utility cupboard, new glazing, tiling and decoration. Externally we applied silicone render to the rear of the property and installed new windows to the first floor. We also landscaped the rear garden to provide a new patio and path.

This project started with a rear and side addition dormer loft conversion to the property to form two new bedrooms and a shower room. We changed the existing third bedroom on the first floor into a large bathroom. This allowed us to remove the ground floor bathroom and open up the space to form a new enlarged kitchen with bi-fold doors opening on the garden. We also built custom made shelving in one of the bedrooms to form a library wall.

On this project we constructed both rear and front extensions to the property and re-designed the front garden so it would facilitate a parking space and a garden area.

We also installed a new patio area to the rear garden and new garden fencing.

Following on from the extension works the clients invited us back to strip out and renew their kitchen.

This project involved the complete strip out of a top floor flat in a Georgian house conversion. In its place we constructed a duplex penthouse apartment with three bedrooms two bathrooms an open plan living area and a roof terrace. The works involved the strip out of the existing structure, installation of steel frame to create the upper floor, construction of dormers complete re-wire and re-plumbing, construction of new walls and ceilings installation of new staircases including one hand made solid oak staircase with glass wall balustrade new joinery throughout installation of two bathroom suites installation of purpose built shelving and storage solutions installation of oak flooring throughout, decoration, Tuffdeck roof covering with hardwood timber decking to roof terrace to create a private outdoor seating area.

Following the works to the apartment we undertook the refurbishment of the complete Georgian house external and the shared common parts.

We had a great experience working with Mitch and Martin on our house renovation project. They removed two chimney breasts, installed steel beams into the attic, added new door and window openings, and built a new wall. Mitch and Martin made the process very easy for us from start to finish, helping us with everything from finding designers for structural drawings to sorting out council paperwork. The quality of the building work was impeccable, and we felt Martin and Mitch looked after our home as if it was their own, paying close attention to ensure all fittings and fixtures matched the Victorian style of the house. They communicated clearly throughout, and the quote was more than fair and proved to be excellent value. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martin and Mitchell to friends and family, and would definitely use again for future projects! Just to add Martin has great taste in music too haha, makes listening to their radio a lot easier :)

I dont like tradesmen in my home, had bad experiences in the past. These guys came highly recommended so I gave them a try, they exceeded my expectations, clean, friendly and polite, workmanship is superb…would I use them again for my next project?
