The garage was constructed in 2015 and required the whole area to be levelled to the same height as the drive.
This garage had 2 main criteria to forefill. The first was to offer secure storage for a number of vehicles and secondly it had meet the customers desire for an Oak clad building.
It was built using a block internal structure and then clad with large Oak planks and a Cedar shingle roof. The main opening supports a 6m span roller door and a secondary internal roller door of 4.5m span.

The brief here was to increase the size of the kitchen by removing both the side and rear supporting walls of the house and to push out into a small courtyard garden.
Another challenge presented was access to the site. The property is a semi-detached house with no rear access to the the garden, only a narrow alley way which we had to negotiate all the material and debris in and out.
